Seeding: fundamental analysis and measurements
Seeding services enable the company to take the first concrete steps along the path to sustainability, using the main methodological analysis and measurement tools.
With Seeding services, we support the client company in achieving its strategic objectives while maintaining a correct approach to sustainability, respecting the interests of its stakeholders, for correct and consistent communication in methodologies and data.
With Seeding services the company sows and sees its sustainability strategy sprout, which will see its maturity in the phase we call Growing & Harvesting.
The service allows to calculate the carbon footprint of a product or process in an expeditious manner, based on data and information provided by the customer and data from literature/databases. The result is a Carbon Footprint measurement that can be used as a basis for internal company evaluations or in B2B communication. The study and measurement of the Carbon Footprint for B2C communication can be carried out later as part of the Growing and Harvesting phase.
The materiality analysis aims to define the sustainability criteria (environmental, economic and social) that are priority for the company, also considering the stakeholders point of view. The final purpose of the analysis is to provide the company the first assessment of these criteria. Both the sustainability strategy and any sustainability report will be based on the preliminary assessment. These additional activities can be developed with a Growing & Harvesting approach.
The goal is to identify strengths and weaknesses in terms of environmental sustainability of a product or type of product, highlighting its positioning related to the industry benchmark. The analysis is particularly useful for those companies that are developing new products or reviewing products already on the market, particularly with innovation objectives.
The circularity index allows you to calculate the circularity level of a product, enhancing those that contain a significant percentage of recycled materials, which can be used and reused several times, and which are more easily recyclable at the end of their life. The index can be used as an internal benchmark or in external communication.
The activity aims to create content relating to the reporting of specific aspects of sustainability by the company, starting from the indications of the GRI standards. It is possible to report single standards and related information, declaring them "GRI referenced ". The contents can be used by the company in internal and external communication, but also in a possible sustainability report to be developed with a Growing & Harvesting approach.
